Trainee teacher placements

Lisburne is an outstanding school and as a result of this we have a fantastic reputation with many of the local Universities, training colleges and further education establishments. We work very closely in partnership with MMU, Edge Hill Institute of Education and a range of other higher education facilitators and take a large number of trainee teachers on short enrichment courses or extended placements each year. 

School and college placements

We work in close partnership with local Colleges, providing opportunities for students to work with pupils with additional needs where they know they will be supported along
their learning journey. Tutors know that the students will receive a high level of support here at Lisburne and are confident that our bespoke training programme will meet the need of all students. All students working at Lisburne are DBS checked and attend safeguarding training before starting their placement.
